The Akron Church of the Brethren is committed to the spiritual nurturing of our youth.  With that in mind, we offer many different programs within our Youth Ministry for both Junior High (grades 6 through 8) and Senior High (grades 9 through 12).  A group of devoted youth advisors lead the students through many spiritual and fun-filled activities.  Some of these include Wednesday night Youth Group for all students and bi-monthly fellowship activities.  Some of the activities we have enjoyed in the past are a Winter Cabin Retreat, Creation Festival and a Barn Party in the Fall.  A senior High Summer Work Camp trip is planned each year as our way of reaching out and showing the love of Christ to our community, whether it is local or afar.  This trip also is bonding time for the students in creating unity and a way for each student to grow close to Christ.
